We felt that our 24 year old daughter may benefit from the calming and reassuring effects of a canine companion, which led to Val calling Barry during the unseasonably sunny early days of October 2022. With our initial hopes confirmed, a journey North was arranged for the following Saturday.
"It took a single ‘phone call enquiry from ourselves for Barry and Gilli to recommend us to meeting Bruce. We had explained that we wanted a dog to act as a companion for Shannon who needs a little help in life. Bruce was the perfect solution and an absolute joy to have in our home."
The chemistry between Shannon and Bruce was obvious, right from the very first moment. In reality, there was no decision to be made. As it is, we've all fallen for him!
Finally and, probably, most importantly, a few words from Shannon, herself:
"Bruce good dog he listen to me all the time this is funny. He cheers me up when I feel sad... loads and loads hug and loads kiss on my face... good running together and I’m very good walking with him... it’s a good boy."
